Building Deer Antler Chandelier
If you like deer hunting, then chances are good that you have a collection of deer antlers. Even if you do not hunt, you can find shed antlers annually by dollars. Have these stages in a deer antler chandelier as a unique way to show your trophies. Apart from deer antlers, you need a chandelier lighting kits or some wire, some tools and knowledge of how to work with electrical cables in order to complete this project.
Instructions for building deer antler chandelier: assess your collection of horns. Horns you choose should be in good shape, with no break points or weak. Determine the size and location of the deer antler chandelier. Plan how many lights you want in your chandelier. You can buy a kit lighting chandelier or create your own wiring. Another option is to dismantle an old chandelier.
Clean horns with oil soap. Clean both the external and internal cable. Drill the stages where you plan to install the bulbs. Coat each series of stages with polyurethane transparent or colored. Allow the stain or polyurethane to dry. Connect the antlers together. Insert the wiring in antlers. Attach a chain to the deer antler chandelier. Suspend the chain with its chandelier from the ceiling.
