How to Make Driftwood Chandelier

Driftwood is readily available on the beach and can be easily transformed into a feature unique lighting in the home. A driftwood chandelier can be placed on an existing light socket or battery LED lights can be braided around the pieces for a look unusual and dramatic.

Education to make driftwood chandelier: gather together a pile of driftwood at least 40 pieces. Dry the woods at least a week. Drill hole at each end of straight piece of wood and strong. The perforations should be of about 2 to 4 inches from the ends. Live in two small hooks image. Join together some pieces of wood in order in shape with brown string. This piece should be fixed under the main piece of wood with strings.

Attach pieces of driftwood in any pattern you want. You can create an effect of cell type by hanging individual pieces of wood at different lengths from the main piece. Alternatively, secure wood together to make other interesting shapes and connect them to the main piece.

Place the chandelier above the existing light socket that will display.  Drill two holes in the ceiling trademark and screw hooks to attach the chandelier. Attach the driftwood chandelier from the ceiling and turn on the light.
